Apricot Lane Boutique, owned by local resident Christine Martin, has quickly become the go-to destination for fashion-forward women. With its carefully curated collection of the latest trends, personalized service, and a welcoming atmosphere, the boutique offers a unique shopping experience that has quickly captured the hearts of style enthusiasts in the area.
Since opening, the boutique has redefined the shopping experience for women of all ages. Offering a stunning array of popular name brands like Paige Jeans, Another Love, Line and Dot, Six Fifty, and Poppy & Pout, Apricot Lane caters to every need, from chic date-night dresses to cozy casual outfits. Christine’s favorite part of the job? Watching a customer step out of the fitting room with a smile, saying, “I think I like this!” For her, these genuine moments of joy and connection are the heartbeat of her business.
“Our goal is to make every customer feel welcomed and valued,” says Christine. “We want to create an environment where people can take their time, explore our collections, and know they’re in good hands with our knowledgeable and friendly staff.” Whether customers are looking for an outfit for a special occasion or a new staple for their everyday wardrobe, Apricot Lane ensures each visit is enjoyable and personalized.
What sets Apricot Lane apart is not only its independent spirit but also its strong connection to a larger mission. While the boutique operates independently, it is part of a franchise that has been supporting local communities and customers across the country for over 30 years. Christine is especially proud of Apricot Lane’s partnership with Noble Venture Designs, a nonprofit organization in Cambodia that provides job opportunities for survivors of human trafficking. This collaboration has created employment for artisans in several countries, including Nepal, India, and Vietnam, allowing them to create handcrafted beaded and wax cord bracelets and accessories, which are sold in Apricot Lane Boutiques across the U.S.
“When I learned that the franchise model allowed me to choose my own clothing lines, design my own store, and support a global cause, I knew this was the perfect opportunity,” says Christine. “This store represents who I am—my designs, my vision, and my passion for fashion while supporting both local and global communities.”
Christine’s husband, Simon, also played a key role in bringing the boutique’s vision to life. From installing beautiful plank flooring and custom-built cabinets to crafting the flower wall that’s now a signature backdrop for social media photos, Simon’s craftsmanship is evident in every corner of the store.
At Apricot Lane, the mission is clear: to offer something for everyone. “When I curate the collections for the store, I think about my mother, daughter, and grandmother,” says Christine. “Every age and style, so every customer feels seen and included.” Christine adds, “My dream is to one day pass Apricot Lane down to my daughters, not just as a business, but as a legacy—a piece of me through my love for fashion and my commitment to giving back, something they can carry forward with pride.”
