Now in their 15th year of business, their success stems from the efforts of owners John Multer and Dawn Longin. John has been successful in the hair industry for over 35 years, and Dawn for over 25. After working together for more than two decades, they decided to bring their talent and passion for the love of hair next level and opened JD Thomas & Co Salon.

Meticulously designed and decorated, the salon is warm and inviting, making their clients feel right at home. JD Thomas has become the kind of salon that both new and old clients have fallen in love with over their 15 year history. 

Along with its atmosphere, JD Thomas has an amazing, highly talented team of stylists with extensive knowledge in all areas of hair design. JD Thomas offers all options of hair coloring including single process, highlights,  balayages and hair painting, as well as haircutting, chemical straightening, keratin treatments, extensions, formal hair services, bridal hair services, conditioning treatments, and more. They also have a makeup artist on call and offer full services by appointment.

John and Dawn both believe in the importance of continuing the education of themselves on all things hair care as well as their staff. “We feel it is an essential component for staying at the top of our field”, says John. This allows the stylists to work closely with their clients and determine the most wearable and modern look that tailors specifically to each client’s needs.

As of 2017, JD Thomas officially opened its doors as a “Mondays at” charter organization. The first Monday of every month, they shut down to the public and offer free services to anyone about to begin or currently in treatment for Cancer. “Allowing us to give something to people going through the fight of their lives is immeasurable to us,” stated Dawn. “If we can help just one person feel beautiful while going through this, and bring some much needed normalcy back to their lives, then we’ve made a difference.”

As for what the remainder of 2024 and 2025 have in store for JD Thomas, clients can look forward to some exciting changes happening. According to Dawn, “We are looking forward to making some updates and upgrades to the salon over the next 12 months. These changes will allow us to keep offering the best possible service to our clients, while keeping the pleasant, enjoyable atmosphere that all of our clients have grown to love.”
