    The universe (god…or whatever you believe in) is always working things out for you, but if you are always focused on what’s going wrong in your life you will never be able to see it.
    If you are like many and you have practiced negative thinking over a long period of time it has become a habit, which means you are more prone to focus on the worst aspect of everything. Of course, you do not do this intentionally but in a world full of negative news media and most people complaining it is easy to fall into the habit of everyday negative thinking.
    The problem is that negative thinking is wasted energy as this type of mindset sets you up for daily struggle, discouragement and plain ole feeling bad about yourself and life in general.  All of which are unnecessary emotions as you begin to understand how you can control every aspect of your life with your attention to either the best or worst aspect of whatever you are focused on. 
    What most people don’t realize is that you actually have the ability to attract what you want from most situations based on what aspect you are focused on; hence why it can appear that most people that complain always have something to complain about, whereas it may seem that most people who tend to look on the “bright side” typically seem to have better luck in life.
    Now is this a coincidence? Nope. As every situation in your life is dictated by your point of attraction based on what perspective you are using to view the world. Therefore, if you look for the best you will often find it and if you look for the negative you will certainly find that.
    So the best and easiest tool that you can use right now to shift your mind from negative to positive is to start giving positive thinking more air time. Plus it’s much easier than you think and not to mention the added benefit of living a positive life means being happy and feeling good about your life in general. Now who doesn’t want that?
    Exactly, so here goes…
Right now, list 5 things in your life presently that you appreciate. If you’re super hard-core with this stuff, I even recommend listing 10-15. Pay attention to how long it takes you to come up with your list.  
    The longer it takes you the more opportunity you have to improve your positive thinking. But don’t fret, that just means your habit of negative thinking has become more dominant and it’s as simple as taking a few minutes a day to give the amazing things in your life more air time.  
    Furthermore, when you start doing this easy list daily for the next 10 days, you will shift your mind super quick as you begin to train yourself to look for the good in life which can then open up space for a lot more good to come!
