Having just opened their doors last month, Paisano's Restaurant and Pizzeria of Smithtown is a welcomed addition to our community. Owner, Nick Mirabile, has been in the food industry for close to 20 years where he spent most of that time cooking and serving authentic Italian food.
Almost three years ago, Paisano's first location opened in Ronkonkoma. The success of the first location is what led Nick to open their second location in Smithtown. Whether its enjoying Pasta Night or Sicilian Sundays with the family, there is something here for everyone. "No doubt that a big part of the Italian culture is food, and though our focus is take out and delivery we are more than just a pizzeria," states Mirabile. "Our restaurant inspired menu, and authentic flavors are what make our food so memorable," he says. After all, what could be better than feeling like you are eating right out of Mama's kitchen?
Mr. Mirabile continues, "As a proud Italian and working in the kitchen for as long as I have, you develop a strong passion for serving food. I love seeing the reaction on my customers faces after they eat something we created."
Stop by and indulge with Paisano's Pasta Night Mondays and Tuesdays. $13.95 includes salad, entrée, and dessert with over a dozen to die for pasta combinations to choose from. Favorites like Rigatoni Alla Mia prepared with shrimp, sun-dried tomatoes, and mushrooms; Pasta Primavera made with whole wheat pasta, zucchini, onions, mushrooms, squash, spinach, and broccoli in garlic and oil or marinara sauce, or their signature Bow-Tie Siciliano prepared with sausage, broccoli rabe, sun-dried tomato and garlic in a light bath of garlic and oil.
