Cycle for Survival is a national movement to beat rare cancers! Their high-energy indoor team cycling events provide a tangible way for you to fight back—100% of all money raised directly funds lifesaving rare cancer research. Cycle for Survival was founded by Jennifer Goodman Linn—a Memorial Sloan Kettering patient and Equinox Fitness member. With the help of her husband Dave, while following Jen’s own rare cancer diagnosis, they wanted to do something to fight back. Jen sparked this movement and, despite losing her own battle with cancer in 2011, we continue to be inspired by her passion and determination to make a difference.
This year Dr. Richard Zalkin, a general dentist in Huntington opened the doors to his practice by donating the Iveri in-office chair side teeth whitening to the members, family and friends of Equinox in Woodbury. Dr. Zalkin and his staff donated the 90 minutes of chair time along with all the supplies needed! The cost was reduced from $600.00 to nominal fee of $100.00 which goes directly to Cycle for Survival! More than 25 people gladly signed up for this event to show support while walking out with a glowing white smile! Dr Zalkin feels it's the least he can do to show his support to Team Kristen James – who hopes to attain her goal of $200,000 for this year’s event! So many of us are diagnosed with cancer every year including those close to Dr. Zalkin.  He is happy to make this an annual fund raising event.

Take a look at cycleforsurvival.org – you still have time to make a donation under Team Member Linda Zalkin – Team Kristen James.

100% of your gift funds pioneering research lead by Memorial Sloan Kettering!
