Take the heat out of summer by drinking to get energized, hydrated and refreshed. As we swing swiftly through the warm sunny season, simple is best. Easy go-to refreshments that quench and satisfy the palate. Nothing is more fitting on a hot humid day than a frosted glass filled with a delicious mouth watering, thirst quenching beverage to help you beat the heat! Its a great time to pick any fresh herbs from your garden to add to this drink.  Use some mint leaves– great for heartburn, indigestion and a host of medicinal properties that benefit the skin and respiratory system– simple, soothing and cooling.
After a fun-filled summer day, you may take this quencher recipe and turn it into a more sophisticated, delightful cocktail by pairing it with Gin, Vodka or your choice of alcohol.  It’s the perfectbeverage to watch the gorgeous sunset! It’s just that simple to quench Summer! Enjoy! xoxo Denise
