    The Book Revue is a wonderful treasure that we’re fortunate to have here in Huntington. Family owned since 1977, they have expanded five times to become one of the largest independent book stores in the country. In addition to thousands of new books, they feature a huge selection of used titles with many selling for just a few dollars. They also boast one of the finest children's sections anywhere – featuring “Toddler Time” every Thursday morning at 11am.
    The Book Revue is also home to the world’s most amazing authors. They have hosted presidents, sports heroes, celebrities and many other amazing and inspirational people in addition to both legendary and local authors alike. Their ongoing schedule of distinguished author readings and celebrity appearances has become well known as one of the finest in America. 
    When visiting, you can enjoy a delicious beverage or snack at their café, then explore the many shelves containing new releases as well as their huge inventory of rare and coveted titles that are no longer in print – making the Book Revue one of the most interesting book stores around.
    Also in Huntington is the fabulous Paramount – rated #11 by Pollstar Magazine as one of the very best club venues worldwide. Since their opening in 2011 The Paramount has hosted a long list of musical icons including Billy Joel, Pit Bull, The Blues Brothers and Rod Stewart. And their comedic lineup has included legends like Andrew Dice Clay, Whoopi Goldberg, Dennis Miller and Dana Carvey.
    The Paramount continues to present the best in live events and offers once-in-a lifetime experiences for its fans and the local community.  The venue donates numerous concert tickets to many local charity groups, hosts annual blood drives and executes regular food drives.

• While every seat in The Paramount is a great one, I enjoy the general admission ticket. Get there early and you can watch your favorite artist perform just inches from the stage.
