Founded in April 2024 and named after Phil’s daughter Gabriella, the nursery has blossomed into a year-round hub for horticultural excellence. Gabriella’s offers home décor, gifts, firewood, holiday items, and a full-service florist. A true family business, Gabriella’s draws on over 70 years of combined experience from the Patti family’s other ventures—Dom’s Landscaping and Domco Lawn Sprinklers in Garden City Park, managed by the Patti family’s eldest sister, Michelle Patti-Farino. Patriarch and proud papa, Dominick, states, “We don’t know everything, but we know enough! When my kids were growing up, they truly believed their last name was ‘Landscaping!’”

“Our team is the heartbeat of Gabriella’s,” says Lori. “From Kathleen, our skilled horticulturist who ensures all our plants are grown with care, to Karen, who handles our digital landscape renderings and designs, to Jorge and Marcelle, our knowledgeable nursery associates who are always ready to help customers find what they need, and finally, Courtney, our brilliant buyer who selects all our trees, shrubs, annuals, and perennials… Every member plays an essential role in bringing our vision to life, and I couldn’t do this without them every day.”

Known locally as the “Glass Dome House,” Gabriella’s is more than just a florist—it’s a community hub. Jorge states, “It’s incredibly rewarding working with the Patti family. Their commitment to revitalizing and maintaining this landmark and space for the neighborhood is inspiring. It’s a place where people can come and enjoy nature, one another, and I am so proud to be part of that.”

This holiday season, Gabriella’s features a wonderful array of items, from Christmas trees and wreaths to cemetery blankets and poinsettias.
