2nd Annual Homeless Clothing Drive

    Weichert Realtors Performance homes is hosting their 2nd annual drive with all donations going to the Long Island Coalition for the homeless. This year we are in need of Winter coats, hats and gloves for both adults and children. Personal hygiene items of all kinds and sizes and pots and pans. 
    Our drop off site located at 847 Fulton Street, Farmingdale NY 11735 will be in the lobby from the hours of 8am-9pm 7 days a week until January 18th. 
The Long Island Coalition for the homeless helps the Long Island Homeless or those facing homelessness. They also have “The Boutique” where donated items are staged and set up like a department store so people in need can browse for clothing, non-perishable food, new bedding and pillows, personal care and feminine care items, toiletries and much more.
    Long Island Coalition for the homeless also hosts community events including back pack pirates, candlelight vigil, veteran’s job and info fair and much more. 
    “Every year we look at our community’s need and again this year we decided to support the Long Island Coalition for the homeless. As a real estate company, it only makes sense to help those who are homeless or struggling to stay in their homes” says Joseph Garcia.
